Offshore Heating Systems
When the weather conditions on the open seas are stormy and cold, a warm and cosy interior environment is of priceless value. Heinen & Hopman has experience with the installation of all types of HVAC equipment suitable for offshore settings. We are fully aware of the need for our installations to comply with spatial constraints and the most stringent safety regulations. This is why Heinen & Hopman offers tailor-made solutions that are ideal for offshore conditions. Where required heating systems are explosion proof, made to deal with salty and harsh weather, and custom built and installed to suit the specific environment in which they operate. For the offshore industry, we often use water-to-air heating systems that are built into our Air Handling Units (AHU).
Some of our commonly supplied heating equipment for the offshore industry includes:
- Oil-fired boiler with radiators and heaters

- Electric heaters
- Heat exchanger with heating from cooling water diesel engines
- Air-handling units
