    Expedition cruise ships

Unlocking destinations others can only dream of, expedition cruise ships offer guests the opportunity to explore the most remote places on earth in the highest level of luxury. Our HVAC technology for expedition cruise ships is especially developed to provide your customers the ultimate sense of comfort in any climate, anywhere in the world.

    Polar Code compliant

Discovering the spectacular scenery of Antarctica, Greenland and the Arctic requires safety measures at the highest level. Polar Code has been developed in the interest of safety for ships and the people onboard, and significantly impacts a vessel’s design and operation. Protection measures and operation procedures are required to ensure that equipment is suitably protected to enable low temperature operation, such as engine room and technical space heating, heating of the emergency generator and escape exits and routes etc. Our HVAC systems for expedition cruise ships are designed to be Polar Code compliant if required.

    Safe Return to Port

Safe Return to Port (SRtP) regulations apply to passenger ships having a length of 120 m. or more, or having three or more vertical fire zones. SRtP aims to increase a vessel’s ability to safely return to port unsupported after an incident of fire or flooding, and thus reduce the likelihood of evacuation. To support the voyage back to port, several systems shall remain operational when the incident occurs. To secure the health of the passengers during the voyage, a minimum fresh air flow of 4,5 m3/h per person is required and the room temperature should stay between +10˚C and +30˚C, affecting the HVAC system layout and control system infrastructure significantly.

    Our working method

Each project is a unique combination of improvisation and routine. There is only one thing that all the projects have in common: the main processing, all the way from initial inquiry to after-sales care:
